It's my Anniversary!

On this day...12 years ago...I walked down the isle to a man that made me laugh, roll my eyes, and who loved me, for me. 

I can't believe the time has passed so quickly and I often find myself daydreaming of the future ahead. There's a lot of things we look forward to doing together, in our silver sneakers years.  We love food (big fans for Food Network), enjoy the outdoors and learning about new places.  We'll be the RVing, retired couple that plans visits to "the local", popular restaurants while still checking email on our cell phones.  

Below is a glimpse into our day, 12 years ago.  

Us being announced as Mr. & Mrs.

It was a small ceremony of only 45 of our friends and family.  

This picture, I'm sharing with you for 2 reason.
One, because it was a special part of our day when Dr. Laura spoke to the guests (she adored my Mr. Handmade) and two, because I discovered, a Keyword search, that brought a few people to my website was "Hilani and Dr. Laura".  So, as a way to share my heart and soul are always honest, I did work for her and here is (this wonderful women) talking to us, the newly weds, on our very special day. 

And a picture I always love to share, and talk about.  My sweet girlfriends, and sister-in-law, finished off our 104 degree weather day, with a dip into 

the crisp, cool water of the estate pool.
